under UNIX or MS Windows.
The key features
of IMACS are :
Security
of data
Linking
to other systems
Precise
control of access to the data
Powerful
graphical workflow capability
Virtually
all forms of data can be handled
No
limits to amount of data or number
of users.
Document Management
There are three primary features of document
management :
Putting the data in
Retrieving the data
Keeping the data secure
In IMACS there are four main
methods of entering data :
Scanning and indexing
including OCR
Importing
E Mails and attachments
XML
Retrieval of data is made easy
in IMACS by :
Direct access by keyword
Access by browsing
Using search templates
From linked systems
Retrieved data can be printed,
E mailed or faxed.
Security of data is in two parts
:
Direct access to the

to print, annotate, etc.
Workflow
